This is a film I honestly didn't have high expectations for, 90% of the cast are people I know or have worked with in the music scene and in my eyes the guy who kind of made the first one is nowhere to be seen (Tayo Scorcher Jarrett). within the first 15 mins of this film I was highly confused, and the editing was well below par in this film. I know this is a fictional tale and a prequel to the first movie, but it made no sense to the first movie with people who seem to be doing massive armed robbery jobs in this starting off doing small job in the first. to me it was a bunch of bad writing, bad directing and a lot of bad acting. On the flip side I know it will do well as it brought a whole new crowd into the cinema and will do good enough for there to be a third movie, which I’m hoping can turn this series of films around, they need to tone down the gun play a lot as it was very unrealistic and concentrate more on the story and also bring in some actual actors and not influx us with the whole urban music scene. Ashley chin to me was the stand out person in this one, with ghetts putting in a decent performance on his full acting debut and fekky always putting in a good shift. One thing i will not and do not understand is why krept and konan had to be on the same side, in the same scenes and just together through this film would be good to see them as just krept and then just konan.
